This Private Luxury Kalamar Villa in Kalkan is currently looking for a new owner. The villa was built in Kalkan’s Kalamar district in 2010. Beautiful beaches, beach clubs, seafront bars and restaurants are all nearby, and the property is only a few kilometers from the old town, which is easily accessible by taxi. This is an excellent investment with breathtaking panoramic sea views. The property was designed with the lucrative holiday rental market in mind, but it could also be ideal for year-round living.
This three-story villa’s ground floor is open-plan, with a modern fully equipped kitchen at one end and a spacious lounge area at the other. There is enough space between these two areas for a dining table that comfortably seats six people. The floor-to-ceiling glass doors make it easy to access the balcony.
There are three bedrooms, two on the first floor and one in the attic. All of the bedrooms have stunning views of Kalkan’s sea. One of the bedrooms has a jacuzzi bath, as well as a shower and dual sinks. The bathroom, too, has a view of the sea.
There is a small roof terrace which you could be used as a sun terrace.
This villa’s private swimming pool measures 10.5m x 3.0m and is surrounded by a large terrace with a stunning sea view of Kalkans Bay. There are plenty of sun loungers and parasols to choose from as you sit on this lovely terrace.
The garden boasts a small grassed lawn and its own outdoor barbecue area. Additionally, you can easily fit a dining table here for 6 people to enjoy alfresco dining.
This villa has other features such as marble floors and air-conditioning throughout. There is parking underneath the property and at the side.
Kalkan is a harbour town on the Turkish Mediterranean coast not yet overdeveloped to cater for huge numbers of visitors.
The town is part of the famous Turquoise Coast and within easy reach of well-known historical sites. These include the beach and ruins at Patara – reputed to be the birthplace of St Nicholas – and Kaputas Beach, which are both close by.
Although in the Antalya province, Kalkan is more closely related to Fethiye. It was first established as a fishing port and the only safe harbour between Kaş and Fethiye. White-washed houses descend to the sea, many adorned with brightly coloured bougainvillea.
The town averages 300 days of sunshine a year. Visitors are mostly those looking for a more relaxed or romantic destination rather than the bright lights of some of the bigger resorts.
